Legal information
Terms of use
These terms set the rules for accessing and using the Envy website, its app and related services.
Last updated: September 27, 2026
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
Purpose
These terms of use (the "Terms") govern the use of the website available at https://envynest.fr and of the Envy app, a service to create, share and organize wish lists.
The service is published by Eco Pulse, a simplified joint-stock company with a single shareholder registered under number 105 648 158 R.C.S. Montpellier, whose registered office is at 667 Avenue du Docteur Jacques Fourcade, 34070 Montpellier, France. Full information about the publisher and the host is available in the legal notice.
Acceptance of the terms
Using the service implies full acceptance of these Terms. Users who do not accept them must not use the service. A minor may only use the service with the prior consent of the holder of parental authority, who remains responsible for that use.
Description of the service
Envy lets you, among other things, create one or more wish lists, add items to them with a description, a link or an image, share a list through a link, and let invited people mark an item as booked so that nobody gives it twice.
Envy is an organization tool. Envy is neither a seller nor a payment intermediary, and takes no part in any transaction. Buying a gift happens exclusively between the user and the store or provider of their choice, under that party's own terms.
Access to the service and account
An account is required to create and manage lists. Viewing a shared list may be possible without an account, depending on the options chosen by the person who created it.
Users agree to provide accurate information when creating their account, to keep their credentials confidential and to inform Envy without delay of any unauthorized use of their account. The account is personal.
Free service
The service is offered free of charge in its current version. Envy may change its offer and introduce paid features. In that case, prices and subscription terms would be presented before any commitment, and features already used for free would not become paid without prior notice to the user.
Content published by users
Users remain responsible for the content they add to the service, including titles, descriptions, links, images and comments. They guarantee they hold the necessary rights to that content.
For the service to work, users authorize Envy to host, reproduce and display this content to the extent needed to provide the requested features, in particular displaying the list to authorized people. This authorization is non-exclusive, free of charge, and ends when the content or account is deleted, subject to technical backup periods and legal obligations.
Prohibited uses
The following are prohibited in particular:
- publishing unlawful, defamatory, insulting, hateful, pornographic or violent content, or content infringing the rights of others;
- publishing personal data about a third party without a legitimate basis, and spreading a list link in order to harm someone;
- identity theft and creating accounts in someone else's name;
- using the service for unsolicited marketing, fraud or to circumvent a store's rules;
- any attempt at unauthorized access, or at harming the security or availability of the service, including mass automated extraction, injection or deliberate overload;
- reproducing or exploiting the service, its database or its content beyond its intended use.
Sharing lists
Sharing a list is the user's choice. A list shared by link can be viewed by anyone who has the link, including if it is passed on to others. It is up to the user to decide what information to include and to share the link only with the people concerned. Information added by invited people, including bookings, is their responsibility.
Links to third-party websites
The service may contain links to third-party websites, including stores added to lists or suggested by the service. These websites are independent of Envy and are the responsibility of their publishers, including for product availability, prices, delivery, after-sales service and data protection. Some links may be affiliate links that can earn Envy a commission, at no extra cost to the user.
Intellectual property
The service, its brand, interfaces, graphics, logos, texts and software are protected by intellectual property law and remain the property of Envy or its rights holders. These Terms only grant a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service, for as long as it is used. Any unauthorized reproduction, adaptation or use is prohibited.
Availability and changes
Envy makes reasonable efforts to keep the service accessible, without guaranteeing continuous availability. Interruptions may occur, in particular for maintenance, updates, technical incidents or events attributable to a provider or the network. The service may change, and some features may be modified or removed.
Liability
Envy is liable under the conditions provided by applicable law. It cannot be held liable for damage resulting from use of the service that does not comply with these Terms, from content published by a user or an invited person, from a share link passed on by the user, from the behavior of a third-party website, or from data loss attributable to the user.
Users who wish to may keep a copy of the important information in their lists.
Suspension and termination
Users may stop using the service at any time and request the deletion of their account. Deletion removes the associated lists, under the conditions described in the privacy policy.
Envy may suspend or delete an account in case of breach of these Terms, in particular for unlawful content or harm to the security of the service. Except in an emergency or where required by law, the user is informed beforehand and may present their observations.
Personal data and cookies
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy. The use of cookies and trackers, and consent management, are described in the cookie policy.
Changes to the terms
These Terms may be changed to reflect changes to the service or to regulations. The applicable version is the one published on this page on the date the service is used, whose last update date is shown above. In case of a substantial change, users are informed by appropriate means, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the new version.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of any issue, users are invited to contact the publisher to seek an amicable solution, at contact@envynest.fr.
In accordance with articles L612-1 and following of the French Consumer Code, consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge, after first trying to resolve the dispute directly with the publisher through a written complaint. Failing agreement, the dispute may be brought before the competent court under the applicable rules.
